Audition Season is BACK! We are looking for actors for our upcoming productions of Twelfth Night and Anansi.
Audition Requirements
1. Character Monologue
Prepare a monologue for the major character you wish to audition for. Your performance should demonstrate your understanding of the character, emotional range, and stage presence.
2. Dialogue Reading
Participants will perform a dialogue scene with one of our judges. The scene will be selected at random on the day of the audition, allowing us to assess your ability to listen, respond naturally, and adapt to direction.
3. Improvisation Challenge
You'll take part in an interactive improvisation exercise. Before entering the dition room, you will randomly select a prompt backstage. Using the provided prompt, along with any props available, you will create and perform a short improvised scene. This portion of the audition is designed to showcase your creativity, quick thinking, and confidence in the moment.
